Connect Google Business Profile

Authorize Locivo to read your Google reviews and post replies on your behalf — plus what to check if the connection won’t go through or stops working later.

From the Businesses page, click Connect Google on the location you added. You’ll be sent to Google to sign in and grant access — Locivo only requests the permissions it needs to read reviews, post replies, and manage your listing.

This is the one integration with two-way access. Every other platform Locivo monitors (Zomato, Practo, and the rest) is read-only.

If the connection was working and later stops — reviews stop syncing, replies stop posting — it’s almost always one of two things. Google sessions can expire or get revoked on Google’s side; Locivo detects this automatically, clears the stale connection, and emails the account owner to reconnect from Businesses. Less commonly, you’ll see an access error even right after reconnecting the same Google account — that means the signed-in account doesn’t actually have access to that specific Business Profile listing in Google’s own permissions, which reconnecting alone won’t fix. You’d need to grant that Google account access to the listing in Google Business Profile itself first.

If Google access is lost, Locivo emails the account owner a reminder to reconnect — up to four over about two weeks — and stops once the business is reconnected. A disconnected business is detected proactively, not only when a sync happens to fail.
