Reply to reviews with AI

Generate an on-brand reply to any review in seconds, work through a backlog in the reply queue, or auto-post by star rating.

Open Reviews and pick any review to generate an AI-drafted reply in your brand voice. Edit it if you want, then post it straight to Google. What gets posted is the text you edited, never the original draft.

Got a pile of unanswered reviews? Open the reply queue (Reply to pending reviews on the Dashboard, or the button on the Reviews page). It shows your pending Google reviews one at a time with the AI draft ready; the next draft is prepared while you read the current one. Post it, edit it first, ask for a new draft, or skip. Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl or Cmd plus Enter posts, S or the right arrow skips, R redraws, E edits. It works through up to 100 reviews per session, for one business or all of them.

For a big backlog there is also bulk mode on the Reviews page. If you have 5 or more pending reviews, the Dashboard offers Reply in bulk, which opens Reviews with the pending ones already selected. You can also click Select pending yourself. Then generate the replies, read and edit them, and click Approve & post. Negative reviews (1 or 2 stars, or negative sentiment) are never selected automatically, so an AI reply is never posted to an unhappy customer unread. Answer those one at a time.

Each draft has a thumbs up or thumbs down. If you give a thumbs down you can say what was wrong (too long, wrong tone, got something wrong, too generic), which helps improve future drafts.

You can also turn on auto-posting for reviews above a star-rating threshold, so positive reviews get a fast reply without manual approval. Every reply — manual or automatic — is logged in an audit trail.

Negative reviews are handled differently on purpose. When a new negative Google review comes in, Locivo writes a reply draft for you and includes it in the alert email with a Review & approve reply button. Nothing is posted until you approve it, and you can approve straight from the email.

If a negative review is still unanswered after about 2 days, Locivo sends one reminder with the draft ready to approve. Both the draft and the reminder are on by default and can be turned off in Settings → Automation.

The Dashboard also has an Ask about your reviews box. Type a question in plain words, such as what customers complain about most or what to fix first, and you get an answer drawn only from your most recent reviews (up to 120). It is available for one business at a time, once that business has reviews, and each question uses one of the day's AI credits, the same as a drafted reply. The Dashboard also shows your reply rate against a 90% goal, so you can see how many more replies it takes to get there.

Auto-posting only covers reviews that arrived after you connected Google. To work through the reviews you already had, turn on Also apply to your existing reviews in Settings → Automation. It uses the same rules, a few at a time, so it never posts dozens at once.
